Started playing The Sims in 2000 and never really stopped. By now, the Grim Reaper probably has me on speed dial. Pool ladders occasionally “went missing,” stoves had artistic ambitions, and I promised myself it was all part of the experiment.
The Sims is everything games mean to me: a private language with my sister, a safe hideout when life gets too loud, and a sandbox where creativity outruns perfectionism.
I’m still attached to pixel people who lived more than twenty years ago on a dusty CRT, in save files named things like final_final_really_final.
