Cheat Console

Open the cheat console with Ctrl+Shift+C, type one of these, hit Enter. All classic Sims 1 console commands — no expansion packs required.

Money

  • rosebud / rosebud;!;!;!;!;! — §1,000 per !
  • klapaucius — same as rosebud, less famous

Build Mode

  • move_objects on — place anything anywhere
  • water_tool — unlocks the pool tool outside build mode
  • roof_tool — unlocks roof editing outside build mode
  • map_edit on — edit the neighborhood terrain

Sim Behavior

  • autonomy [0-100] — how much Sims act on their own
  • sim_speed [0-500] — speeds up or slows down the whole household
  • draw_all_frames on — smoother animation, heavier on old hardware

Misc

  • paintings_all_ages — unlock every painting regardless of Sim age
  • quit — closes the game immediately, no confirmation. use with respect.
